About Us

The Early Childhood Alliance of Niles Township is a collaboration of over 45 organizations: center-based care providers, family child care providers, home visiting programs, school districts, early intervention providers, village governments, health agencies, social service agencies, and individuals focused on enhancing the outcomes of every young child in the Niles Township community.  Together, we are united in connecting families to resources, promoting high quality early childhood services, and lifting up families with young children to ensure that all children reach their full potential. 

Our collaborative approach includes: collective impact, relationship development, common goals, shared data and decision making, clear communication & marketing, and responsible funding and stewardship. 

Our Goals

  • Enhance equitable access to Early Childhood programming in Niles Township, including publicly funded programs

  • Share importance of early learning with the community

  • Engage parents as partners through activities such as Family Resource Fairs, developmental screening events & creation of a parent council to help advise the ECA.

  • Recruit & hire Family Liaisons to eliminate barriers to access (such as language and cultural) where possible. 

  • Support and coordinate professional development opportunities for community early childhood educators
