Financial Assistance

A number of programs in Niles Township offer publicly funded programs (free) both center based and home visiting, scholarships, and sliding scale fees to enable families to afford high quality early learning experiences for your child.

• Low Income - Child qualifies for Free/Reduced Lunch• Physical or Health Concerns
• Prenatal or Birth Concerns
• Various Home Situations Example: Domestic Violence or Abuse, Alcohol, Drug Use, Prison Involvement, Family Member in Special Education, Developmental or Mental Disability. Chronic Illness of Parent, Divorce
• Child Lives With Adult Other Than Birth Parent
• Family Lives With Child's Grandparents, Friends, or Homeless
• Family Receives Services from DCFS or Other Social Service Agencies
• Parent Did Not Graduate From High School
• Mother is Younger Than 21 Years Old• English as a Second Language
• Individual Educational Plan (IEP)
• Difficulty Communicating or Separating
• Sibling in Program

Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)
(For children with caregivers who are either employed or in an eligible educational activity & have family income below allowable limits) 
Childcare Network of Evanston offers eligibility assistance and Action for Children oversees the CCAP program for our area. Action for Children will provide the necessary application forms if your family qualifies.
